Terms & License

These Terms apply to purchases of digital products from SALT&CITRUS. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the license that applies to your chosen product. Please read the product description and requirements before purchasing.

1. Our digital products

We sell website and social media templates. Products are supplied digitally as files, instructions, template links or access to a website template. No physical items will be shipped.

Website templates are designed for Squarespace 7.1. Social templates are edited in Canva. Required accounts, platform subscriptions, paid fonts and third-party assets are not included unless the product description expressly states otherwise. Website and Instagram templates are sold separately.

2. Orders and delivery

Prices are shown in euros. The total payable, including any applicable taxes and discounts, is shown before you confirm your order. Access is provided after payment has been successfully confirmed.

For Canva products, you receive a PDF with template links and instructions. For Squarespace products, you receive setup instructions and an invitation to access your template within 24 hours after we receive the email address linked to your Squarespace account. Please provide an accurate email address and check your spam folder.

3. One purchase, one license

Your purchase grants one limited, non-exclusive license to use the purchased template within the scope below. You are purchasing permission to use the design, not ownership of its intellectual property.

  • Website templates: one purchase covers one website for your own personal or business use, or one website for one client. Each additional website or client project requires a separate purchase.

  • Social templates: one purchase covers one personal or business social media account. Website or blog use is permitted only where expressly included in the product description. Each additional account or client requires a separate purchase.

4. What you can do

You may customize the colors, fonts, text, photos and layouts, and publish the resulting website or social content for the licensed project. If you purchase a website template for a client, you may hand over that completed website to that client. This does not permit reuse of the template for other projects.

5. What you cannot do

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, give away or share the editable templates, source files, download files or access links, whether in their original or modified form. You may not offer them as your own templates, include them in template bundles or libraries, or make them available for others to copy or reuse. Access may be shared only as necessary to work on the single licensed project.

6. Intellectual property and third-party assets

Our original template designs and materials are protected by copyright.

Stock photographs, fonts and other third-party assets remain subject to their owners’ licenses. Preview images may be placeholders and are not automatically licensed for your use. Replace them with your own assets or obtain the appropriate license, including from Death to Stock where relevant. Some Canva elements may require Canva Pro. Check the individual product description for details.

SALT&CITRUS is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Squarespace, Canva or the stock photography providers shown in our previews.

7. Refunds

Once files or template access have been provided, all sales are final. Returns, exchanges and refunds are not offered, except where required by applicable law. Please read our Refund Policy. Your mandatory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed products remain unaffected.

8. Support and responsibility

If you have trouble accessing your purchase or following the supplied instructions, contact us with your order details. Custom design work, content creation and ongoing website management are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.

We do not guarantee particular sales, traffic, search rankings or other business results from using a template. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Privacy and applicable rights

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. These Terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights that apply in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms for future purchases. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that purchase, subject to applicable law.
